Shakti

If you have expectation of a woman who has recently become a mother, it is very likely that you will experience disappointment. Even if her love language has previously been to be there for you, in this moment she needs you to be there for her, as she learns how to be there for her child and along the way, herself.

I have heard many mothers say, and too have experienced, that each time they have welcomed a child, the world around them shifts to become a little clearer.

Personally I experience my instinct shedding what I do and don’t have capacity for. I hear my heart unveiling who is willing to hold me in the way I hold them. I feel my Soul reminding me that people come and come go from our lives and that that, is okay. This is the way life renews itself. This is way of the divine feminine — constantly moving, constantly changing. Shakti.

If you are a mother feeling the pressure of this expectation, look directly towards it to discover new meaning. You are currently in one of the most significant chapters of your life and while your Soul is vast, your physical resources are limited right now. It is okay to express the boundaries and support you need to journey through this chapter — this is a time for you to receive what you need.

Trust in the simple nature of tending to your nest and let the world around you change because, Dear Mother, you are being called to evolve with it.

Love,
Alanna
