About Relationship Therapy

I work with individuals on their relationship with self, couples (any two people) on their relationship with each other and groups who are ready to grow self awareness, emotional intelligence and loving connection in all of their relationships. 

My work is supported by my studies and experience in yoga and meditation, emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, kundalini tantra, somatic embodiment and poetry. Working with me involves healing deeply rooted beliefs, patterns and behaviours, most often established in childhood, that have caused a disconnect in your relationship with self, others and life. Exploring everything from nature to nurture, heartbreak to healing, mindfulness to mysticism, childhood to parenthood, sensuality to wonder, somatics to science and all the experiences that run through a human life: vulnerability, joy, grief, shame, courage, beauty, despair and awe.

As your therapist, I am here to guide you in becoming more aware of how you relate to yourself and others, while building intimacy and emotional intelligence. Working with me will help you find more connection, compassion and courage in all of your relationships - most importantly, in the relationship you are having with yourself. 

What is involved in Relationship Therapy?

I believe many of us are afraid to feel because we weren’t shown how. We fear that by being vulnerable it will somehow unravel the life we have so carefully constructed or mean that there is something wrong with us.

Emotions are the most powerful energy in our body influencing our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. How we feel has direct influence on our physiology, psychology, relationships and virtually all of our perceptions of the world. Through somatic embodiment, emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and tantric philosophy I will guide you into the intelligence of your body so that you can understand your emotions by feeling and expressing them. During our time together I will offer a wide range of reflective tools, spiritual insights and embodiment practices that will transform your inertia into inspired action. 

In working with me you will come to see that vulnerability and pain are not only a natural parts of living, but essential pillars in living a healthy and meaningful life. As we heal, we dissolve old beliefs and patterns while developing an awareness that the more we allow ourselves to feel the healthier our relationships. My belief is that feeling our emotions brings us more alive than anything else.

Relationship Therapy will educate, empower and enliven every aspect of your life. The outcomes I have witnessed in those I have worked with is a more connected, meaningful and courageous life. One where individuals and couples learn to rewire and rebuild the foundations upon which they have built their lives - lives where both feel seen, loved and alive.

    *Please note that you are welcome to purchase a 10 session pack without having had an intro or casual session.

    *If you choose a 10 pack of sessions, please note that all 10 x 50-minute sessions must be redeemed within a 12 week period beginning on the date of your first session.

    How Sessions Work

    For best results both individuals and couples will require approximately 10-20 sessions but this will depend entirely on our progress. We will work together weekly and where that isn't possible, I have allowed 12 weeks for the 10 sessions to be used.

    Sessions are 50mins and held on zoom.

  • Relationship Therapy is short-term intensive work suitable for those who are ready to commit, heal and transform their lives. I only work with a handful of individuals and couples at a time and have limited availability each week.

  • Sessions are 50mins and held on zoom.

  • Yes! As sessions are held on zoom I’m able to work with folks all over the world and find that my appointment availability suits most time zones.

  • I do not offer refunds and rescheduling must be done 48hrs prior to our session, otherwise the session will be forfeited. Please ensure that you are ready and able to commit to this therapy before purchasing a 10 pack of sessions.
